Description: The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Nelson Doubleday Book Club Edition in a two-volume set These were in my mother's home for many years. They have no date on the inside but I remember them from the 1960s, so they are from the 1960s or even older. Both volumes are in very good condition considering their age. The tops of the pages are colored in a nice red. The sides of the pages were cut in a rustic manner, making them seem old like parchment. The top of the pages in the bottom are standard though. The dust jackets have some tears along the tops and bottoms of the book covers. They also have minor stains. Please see pictures. If you want a complete set of all his plays and poems, this is a great vintage set.
