Description: Up for sale is an original Vintage Color Men's Fashion Lithograph Art Plate from a tailor showing the latest clothing designs in the early 1900's from the United States Fabric & Sample Book Company in Philadelphia. This lithograph highlights men's fashion Design #202. This unique fine art lithograph served as a design from their 1911 & 1912 Fall & Winter Catalogue. Size is approximately 19 x 14 1/2. This lithograph shows a man holding a cane and wearing a Three-Button Sack Suit (Semi-English). There is browning and staining to the print, particularly at the edges. Heavier staining on the bottom right and darker browning on the top left. There is light browning within the area of the image, as well. There is some wear and chipping, which is noticable in small "white spots" on the mans suit. There is also wear and chipping to the man in the backgrounds face. There are creases in the corners. On the back is another print, although it is in worn condition with some of the image scraped off. It is taped with a seam on the back right edge where it was originally bound. Other dings here and there. A great show piece for anyone, especially the collector, designer or decorator. This is a fantastic art print of patterns from the day and will look very nice framed! Please note that while I have included a copy of the Introductory Page (last photo), it is not included in the sale as it is a reference piece to determine authenticity for several other lithographs. This is Print #4 of part of a set of 8 different color vintage clothing design art lithographs we will be selling from the same collection.
