Description: The World of Marcel Duchamp, 1887-1968, by Calvin Tomkins and the Editors of Time-Life Books (rev. ed., HB) Publisher: Time-Life Books Year: 1972 (Revised edition of a book first published in 1966; this copy printed in 1974.) No ISBN on book. Condition: Very good, in good slipcase. The presence of the slipcase has protected the book from most shelf wear; there are a few small rubbed and/or stained patches on front board at outer edge and near spine, and on spine itself. Both boards are very slightly warped. Text block is slightly buckled (a common problem in books of this size), but is clean, complete, free of discoloration, and very crisp and tight. Back flyleaf has traces of pencil markings, possibly from an earlier reseller. Slipcase does show signs of wear: there are rubbed or soiled spots and a pencil mark, and paper covering has begun to come unglued at top seam.
