Description: SARAH CLEMENTSON YAEGER Matted LIMITED Print TACOMA CITY HALL The watercolor scene is very detailed of this city in Washington state. The composition brings the eye from the old city street to the freeway and up to the sky with gulls in it. This print is limited. At the bottom right in pencil is written 30/1000/01/Clementson. Clementson is also signed in the print at the lower left. The picture itself measures 11" x 8-1/4". The whole with matting measures 16" x 12". A red ribbon at the corner is attached on the back with masking tape, meant to be removed. This came in a transparent wrapper with a small card attached to the ribbon. The card is of pigeons and also created by Sarah Clementson Yaeger. There is a backing board that is detached from the matting and print. It has information about the artist and picture on its back. Sarah Clementson Yaeger worked for the Lord and Taylor Art Gallery in New York as a buyer. She began her painting of city scenes in Rome and France, then settled in Spain with her husband, artist Michael Yaeger. In 1979, the Yaegers moved from Europe and settled in Seattle. Very good condition and still in the original wrapper, ready with the accompanying card for a gift. Thanks for looking!
