Description: This 1944 Wheat Penny is noticeably very different in color, and that is what caught my attention. It scans in as brass, which I know isn't 100% accurate. I put two 1944 pennies side by side and took a picture to show the color difference. It looks to be a dark redish - brown. I believe it is a wrong planchet error, which would be a brass planchet. I'm open to any offers and / or any advice on this coin. I've never had a penny scan in as brass before, and I did this with several different pictures of this penny, all coming back as so. A brass planchet error makes this pretty valuable as you can see. The asking price is nowhere near close to what it's worth, but I will accept most offers. It is not certified.
