(Given: 1st—The Waterfall; 2nd—The Illuminating Gas . . .). This book is a reproduction of Duchamp’s notebook of instructions for assembly or disassembly of his artwork Étant Donnés . . . . The lot consists of the hardcover book, a four-page pamphlet explaining the notebook, and the paper wrapper that encased the book. The book and pamphlet are in fine condition with no obvious defects. The wrapper has a small (1/2") closed tear on the back; see photos for details. I think it was placed in the back of the book once it was taken off the book, so it's flat. This item is being sold for a Friends of the Library group. In order to maximize the proceeds the Friends receive from the sale of this item, I ask that the buyer pay shipping. I ship books, CDs, and DVDs via Media Mail, which is relatively inexpensive but slow. Major credit cards, PayPal, and Google Pay are gratefully accepted.
