This is a rare PENCIL-SIGNED late-1970s FRENCH LITHOGRAPH on thick white paper. Published by PACE GALLERY in NEW YORK CITY for a PACE EXHIBITION in COLUMBUS, OHIO. This example is from the ORIGINAL GALLERY PRINTING of the lithograph, and is hand-signed by the artist, Marc Chagall. (Whether Chagall signed this litho at the exhibition, or later, elsewhere, or in New York or even Paris we don't know as we don't have records of these exact details.) The lithograph is announcing an EXHIBITION of Chagall's works, entitled (in the lower part of the litho): "CHAGALL AT PACE / COLUMBUS" It is PENCIL-SIGNED, beneath the image: Marc Chagall.
