We cut through 100's of square feet of quality top grain leather each year for chaps, clothing, upholstery, pillows and other items. With the cost of leather, we try to use every bit. For a while we were using the smaller pieces to make patchwork pillows in our family-run business, but with the younger generation off at college, we no longer have the time to process small pieces. For those unfamiliar with leather, leather is measured in ounces per square foot, so 2-3 oz weight leather is what is generally used for upholstery or clothing. We use top-grain premium leather from Italy or Brazil. We are offering a Flat-rate USPS Priority box stuffed full, which will contain 6-7 pounds on assorted color leather pieces that are hand-size or larger.
