This piece is a lovely example of the art of Keith Lee, who was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1927. He moved to the Los Angeles area sometime about 1960, and he died in 2003. He created art in several styles, using a variety of art media and subjects. His work contains much detail. We are not art experts and do not know if this piece is a lithograph or an etching. It has a raised edge around the image from being pressed (see photos). The image depicts a fishing boat, the "Ana," in the foreground with a wharf in the background. The actual location of this scene is unknown, but it resembles several wharves on the Southern California coast. The print is numbered 44/100 in pencil in the lower left corner of the image. The name "Fisher" is printed in the middle below the image. And the artist's signature is in the lower right corner of the image (see photos). The top mat is a dark brown color. The original, wooden frame measures about 17" by 13". The image itself measures about 5-3/4" by 4-7/8". There is a glass pane covering the whole piece. It is stamped on the back with the artist's name, address, and phone number at the time it was produced. This attractive piece of art is in good condition with no visible damage.
