Description: The two Vintage demitasse or tea cups are by Eschenbach Baronet China in Germany. Eschenbach began in 1891, was partially destroyed in the war in 1945, was rebuilt in 1959. It went through many transformations and I believe still operates today. Delicate and no imperfections. The cabbage design larger cup and saucer are from Secla Portugal created in Majolica style. Majolica is a style of glazing and painting pottery that keeps the end product is always and striking. The cups are definitely different from each other and each is in amazing conditions for you to use and enjoy. Secla Portugal is well-known for their exquisite pottery. Just fyi, Secla was begun in 1947 and went out of business in 2008. I gained this information by researching the internet. I encourage you to do your own research. Enjoy using these pieces. Life is too short to have them sit on a shelf! Just my POV!
