Description: I remember The Pig and Whistle clearly. Each show started with the Pig and Whistle theme song and at the end, John belted out "Wotcher Cocks!" "Come in !! to the Pig and Whistle" It was a high energy song and dance show set in an English Pub. It was a Canadian show mind you, with British performers to a large extent. It ran for 10 years from the Centennial year to 1977. This great screen printed beer glass measures 4 3/4" tall and is in perfectly new condition. The back shows a quick bio of each of the main performers, John and Kay. This beer mug is PURE Canadian history. I'm not going to use the word "rare" here but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, find another one.
