It is titled "World War II" in the upper margin and measures a generous 70 x 106.5 cm [27½" x 42"]. It was compiled by Rand McNally & Company, New York, and the legend key locates the Naval and Air Bases and Stations of the United States, British Empire, Netherlands Indies, Soviet Union, Japanese Empire, Germany, Japan, and other nations. Selected air routes and sea routes are also shown, with distances in statute miles. Condition: This vintage map is in very good, lightly used condition, complete and intact, with scattered pinholes in the margins and no marks, rips, or tears. It has been lightly folded to approximately 14" x 8". Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. The credit line inside the lower margin reads "Carstairs Bros. Distilling Co., Baltimore, Md. Blended Whiskey 86.8 proof, 72% Grain Neutral Spirits." Carstairs White Seal Blended Whiskey had been introduced in 1940.
