A quiet lake set among the lush green wooded hills. Two standing figures enjoy the peaceful lakeside, while another sets out in a small rowboat. ----------- Condition. As-seen in the photos; some old dampstaining at the upper-right. Aging of the paper. A little wear at the outer edge. Foxing and browning of the paper ( from having spent 150 years in a wooden picture frame with a wooden backing board ). Otherwise good. The colors are still exceptionally strong - this lithograph was clearly protected from the sunlight through all of those many years. This is a fairly scarce Currier & Ives litho. Carefully packed for shipment to the buyer.
